She was born in Verona (Italy). After training at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, she went on to postgraduate study in harpsichord and basso continuo with Jesper B. Christensen at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis.

She has appeared all over the world with such ensembles as Academia Montis Regalis, Ensemble Aurora, Cappella della Pietà dei Turchini, Ensemble Zefiro, and La Venexiana. She has recorded for Opus 111, Capriccio, Glossa, Alpha, La Bottega Discantica, Agorà, Naxos and Arion.
