After graduating with highest honour in guitar at the Conservatorio di Santa Cecilia in Rome he has dedicated himself to the study of Renaissance and Baroque repertoire.

He has played at the most prestigious festivals in Europe, America and Japan. He has collaborated with Jordi Savall, Andrew Lawrence King, Christoph Coin, Enrico Onofri, Amandine Beyer. He has recorded for Opus 111, Capriccio, RCA, Virgin, Symphonia, Hyperion, Nuova Era.

Most recently he has recorded Vivaldii’s Concerto for lute and strings and for lute, viola d’amore and strings with Academia Montis Regalis for the german label Edel Klassik
