She was born in Bogotá (Colombia) and studied the viola with Rachel Podger and Katherine McGillivray at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London.

Since settling in France in 2002 she has enjoyed influential artistic encounters with Skip Sempé, Kenneth Weiss and Amandine Beyer, and taken part in performances conducted by Christophe Rousset, Paul McCreesh, Rinaldo Alessandrini and Philippe Herreweghe, among others.

She appears with several Baroque ensembles, including Le Concert Français and is principal viola og Gli Incogniti
